JAMES DARREN

IN CONCERT

According to Donna Steline, James Darren's May 2000 performance with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra in Iowa was a night to remember.

James Darren is still the ultimate!

In Dubuque's Five Flags Arena during the Eighth Annual Arena Pops Concert on May 6, James sang Cole Porter and Frank Sinatra songs, including many from his CD 'This One's from the Heart'.

His renditions of 'Night and Day', 'The Way You Look Tonight', 'The Summer Wind', 'Dancing in the Dark' and 'All the Way' - just to name a few - were absolutely wonderful. His voice is still as good as ever.

He even sang 'Gidget', and showed clips from some of his old movies and TV shows. He said the hardest part of his job was kissing all the beautiful leading ladies that he has worked with.

After the concert, James autographed copies of his new CD, as well as my James Darren mousepad and the program. I even got a picture of us together.

It was an evening that I will always remember.
